Chakrasamvara (also spelled Chakrasambhara) is a deity in the Tibetan Buddhist pantheon who represents the union of bliss and emptiness. Chakrasamvara is usually depicted as a fierce blue or dark-red male deity, often embracing his consort, Vajravarahi, who is depicted as a red female deity. Together, they represent the union of wisdom and skillful means.

The practice of Chakrasamvara is an advanced form of tantric meditation that involves visualizing oneself as the deity and cultivating the awareness of emptiness and bliss. The practice is said to lead to the attainment of enlightenment in a single lifetime.

Chakrasamvara is considered to be one of the highest practices in the Tibetan Buddhist tradition, and it is associated with the Kagyu and Sakya lineages. The deity is also revered in the Nyingma and Gelug traditions.

In addition to his role as a deity in the Buddhist pantheon, Chakrasamvara is also considered a symbol of the union of wisdom and compassion, and his practice is said to help practitioners overcome the dualistic thinking that causes suffering and to develop greater empathy and compassion for all beings.
